Chief Executive Officer
Since May 1st, 2007, Dr.
Fred Wilsdorf (54) is Chief Financial
Officer of JUBII Europe. His area of
authority comprises the business
services units including finance,
controlling, accounting, tax, investor
relations, procurement and facility
management. As of May 28th,
2009 Dr. Wilsdorf was appointed as the
new managing director and CEO after the
resignation of Christoph Mohn. Dr.
Wilsdorf was born in Hamburg in 1957.
He graduated in business studies in
Hamburg. From 1983 to 1988 he did a
doctorate at the Universität der
Bundeswehr, Hamburg. Also in 1988 he
took an examination as a tax consultant
and joined the financial division of
Daimler Benz AG, Stuttgart. From
mid-1989 until the end of 2003, Dr.
Wilsdorf took on various, increasingly
responsible positions, most recently as
Director of Finance and Accounting /
central controlling / investor
relations at Axel Springer AG in
Hamburg. Apart from being responsible
for about 260 members of staff, his
area of responsibility included
business process analysis and
optimization, the development of
financing plans for major acquisitions,
the preparation of rating processes,
drawing up and overseeing the
implementation of cost-cutting
programs, the reorganization of
planning processes, and the
implementation of merger and
acquisition projects and sales of
companies involving purchase prices of
up to EUR 5 billion. In 2004, Dr.
Wilsdorf became CFO at L. Possehl &
Co. mbH, Lübeck. His area
responsibility there comprised the
holding areas of balance sheet,
controlling, property management,
finance, information technology, audit
and taxation. Since April 2006 Dr. Fred
Wilsdorf had been a self-employed
corporate consultant and after that the
Managing Director of a private wealth
management company.
